A beautiful Fall day was the backdrop for our luncheon. The fellowship was excellent as laughter seemed to abound thoughout the time of the luncheon. Many memories were shared such as the nicknames the members of the football team had for each other. It just happened to be the birthday of the editor of this web site and those present responded by singing Happy Birthday and taking a quick collection to cover the cost of lunch. That was really special and appreciated! We left with the hope we will all be seeing each other in the Spring and maybe a few more folks that couldn’t make this luncheon.

You might refer our luncheon as being more intimate than it has been with the attendance being down. The phrase heard most often during the luncheon was "where's (name)". Many who have regularly attended were missing. It was agreed that we will continue to have our luncheons at Williams in the private room and we will make more intentional contacts with many of those classmates that were not present.
Other than our concern for those "missing" it was a good gathering with the usual excellent meals and warm fellowship.
