50th Reunion schedule for October 9 - 11, 2009

On Tuesday, May 11th, 2010, the class of ‘59 Committee had a post 50th meeting at the Gardner Ale House. It was unanimous that our 50th Reunion exceeded all expectations and the committee was thankful for all the positive comments received from so many classmates that attended.
We agreed that the web site should continue as a means to continue to keep in touch with as many folks as possible.
It was suggested that we plan a periodic (quarterly?) gathering (lunch) and have it be an informal event with minimal planning required. Many schools and classes have done this type of event after the 50th because so much can change in five years and with almost everyone retired it is possible to attend a midweek daytime event especially if you live in the area. There will be no printed mailing about these gatherings. Notice of these luncheons will be on the web as well as e-mails to those who have supplied their e-mail addresses.
The first luncheon was held in September of 2010 and the second was in May of 2011. They were held at the Gardner Ale House and were both successful and with good attendance. In recent years all of our luncheons are held at Williams Restaurant.
The luncheons are so successful that we have completed 24 of them (as of June 2024). So was our 55th reunion in October 2014 ....and 60th in 2019.....and yes our 65th in 2024 YIKES!!
